Lil Kim Addresses Media: ‘Put Some F**king Respect On My Name Period’
The Queen Bee Lil Kim recently took to Instagram Live to address the media and announce that she won’t be doing any press for a while.
The “Jump Off” rapper is currently on a promotional run to support her forthcoming VH1 reality show, Girls Cruise and new music, but the Grammy Award-winning artist has decided to bring the press junket to an impromptu halt.
Lil Kim and her team made the decision to stop the press run because they got word that the same networks who were slated to interview her, were talking negatively about her.
In the Instagram Live video (watch below), Kim specifically called out The Today Show and Access Hollywood, where the rapper says she was supposed to appear on Thursday (July 11).

Those two networks weren’t the only media entity’s that caught the wrath of the Brooklyn rapper. She also called out Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live host, Andy Cohen.
“If y’all don’t see me doing press, if y’all don’t see me doing certain things, it’s ’cause I’m fighting,” Lil Kim said to the camera.
“I’m f**king fighting. I’m not f**king just about to have motherf**kers not put respect on my name. So don’t act stupid. Don’t start asking all these dumb questions.”
“At this point, it’s about me,” Kim continued. “I’m that b**ch, nothing else. I refuse to f**king keep doing all of these interviews, publications, and all of that shit if motherf**kers is not gonna respect who I am, what I’ve done, where I’m at now. Put some f**king respect on my name. Period.”
