On Monday (Mar. 23), Tamar Braxton took part in Tyler Perry’s “He’s Got The Whole World” challenge, inviting her sister, Toni Braxton, Mariah Carey, Tiny Harris, Adrienne Bailon, and Tiwa Savage to join her.
“When we don’t have ourselves, My Dear God, You are the ONLY thing that has got us,” Tamar wrote in the caption of her post, sharing her rendition of “He’s Got the Whole World In His Hands. “We are depending on you. YOU are the only one who can fix this. This here is bigger than all of us……BUT you are BIGGER.”
As we previously reported, on Sunday (Mar. 22), Tyler Perry started a new challenge called the “He’s Got The Whole World Challenge.” The director took to Instagram and began singing the popular African-American spiritual “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands,” and encouraged others to participate.
“It’s my hope that we add to this simple song in every language from every nation as we let it become a prayer for our whole world!” Perry wrote in the caption of his post. “God bless you today. And remember it’s all in God’s hands!”
Yolanda Adams, Jennifer Hudson, Johnny Gill, Fantasia, Tamela Mann, Kierra Sheard, and Nicci Gilbert, among others, have also participated in the challenge.
